Signing in to blackbox.md and signing out

The “Autentificare” (Sign in) page (blackbox.md/login, in Russian blackbox.md/ru/login) opens your BLACKBOX account: your orders, invoices, balance, SSH keys and access to the app.blackbox.md panel. You reach it through the “Cont client” (Customer account) link in the site header, or automatically when you open a page that requires an account, such as an order.

Available to: any customer with an account on blackbox.md.

The blackbox.md website is available in Romanian and Russian; this article quotes the Romanian labels with their English meaning.

How to sign in with email and password

1. In the site header, click “Cont client” (Customer account). On a phone, tap the round icon in the top-right corner. The “Autentificare” (Sign in) page opens, with the subtitle “Accesați contul dvs. BLACKBOX” (Access your BLACKBOX account).
2. In the “Email” field, enter the address you signed up with.
3. In the “Parolă” (Password) field, enter your account password.
4. Click “Autentificare” (Sign in). While your details are being checked, the button shows “Se autentifică…” (Signing in…).
5. If you were sent here automatically from a page that requires an account (for example, an order you had started), you return to that page. In all other cases, including when you clicked “Cont client”, your account page (/account) opens.

On the same page you will also find:

• above the form, under “Autentificare cu” (Sign in with), the “GitLab” and “Google” buttons: see Signing in with Google or GitLab;
• below the form, the link “Nu aveți cont? Înregistrați-vă” (Don't have an account? Sign up): see Creating an account on blackbox.md. If you came from an order, you also return to it after signing up.

The page has no “Am uitat parola” (Forgot password) link. If you cannot remember your password, see Forgot your account password.

If the site already knows you are signed in (for example, you opened an account page in the same tab), the /login and /register pages take you straight to /account.

Email language

If you sign in with email and password on the Russian-language page (/ru/login), your account language becomes Russian: the emails that depend on it (for example, the address verification email) arrive in Russian. Signing in on the Romanian page does not switch the language back. Details: Language of the website, the panel and emails.

Error messages

Attempt limits

Only the attempts from the last 5 minutes are counted. Attempts made while a limit is reached do not extend the block. All account limits: The “Too many attempts” message and usage limits. Other situations: I can't sign in to my account or the panel.

How long a session lasts

• A session on blackbox.md lasts 8 hours from the moment you sign in. Activity on the site does not extend it.
• After 8 hours, when you reload or reopen an account page or an order page, you are taken to the “Autentificare” (Sign in) page, and after signing in you return to the same page. If a page that is already open stops loading data, reload it.
• The session is valid only in the browser where you signed in. Closing the browser usually does not end it: it stays active until it expires or until you click “Deconectare” (Sign out).

How to sign out

1. Open any page in “Contul meu” (My account).
2. On a computer, click “Deconectare” (Sign out) at the bottom of the left-hand menu. On a phone, tap “Meniu cont” (Account menu), then “Deconectare” at the end of the list.
3. The session ends and the “Autentificare” (Sign in) page opens.

The app.blackbox.md panel has a separate session

“Deconectare” on blackbox.md ends only your session on the website. The app.blackbox.md panel, which you open with “Panou de administrare” (Admin panel) in the account menu, has its own session, also 8 hours long, which starts over each time you open the panel from your account (see Opening the app.blackbox.md panel from your account). You stay signed in to the panel in your browser even after you sign out of blackbox.md.

To sign out of the panel:

1. In the panel's top bar, on the right, click the button with your email address.
2. Choose “Logout”.

To end the panel sessions on all your devices, use “Settings” → “Sessions” → “Sign Out Everywhere” (see Panel settings: profile, password, and sessions).

Security On a shared or public computer, sign out of the panel first, then out of blackbox.md, and do not let the browser save your password. On your own devices, use a password manager: it generates a long, unique password and fills in the “Email” and “Parolă” (Password) fields for you.

Frequently asked questions

Does capitalization matter in the email address? No, the email address is checked without regard to capital letters. The password, however, is case-sensitive: capital and lowercase letters are different.

I signed in recently, but I see the “Autentificare” (Sign in) form. Why? The site header and the sign-in page do not always check whether your session is active. Open blackbox.md/account: if the session is active, your account opens directly; if not, sign in again.

I forgot to sign out on another computer. What should I do? blackbox.md has no way to sign out on all devices at once, but the session on the other computer expires within 8 hours at most anyway. To end it right away, change your password: this ends all your sessions on blackbox.md and stops the API tokens created before the change (see Changing your account password). In the panel, use “Sign Out Everywhere”.

Does signing out stop the AI assistant's API tokens? No. The tokens in “Token-uri API” (API tokens) keep working until you revoke them or change your password. See API tokens: creating, copying and revoking.

I use the site in Russian, but after signing in or out the page opened in Romanian. Why? The pages the site sends you to automatically (the sign-in required by an order, your account after signing in, the page after signing out) open in Romanian. Switch the language with “RU” in the header. On narrow phone screens the switcher is missing, so add /ru after blackbox.md in the address bar.
