Panel interface: menu, top bar and language
What's in the sidebar and the top bar (balance, language, theme, user) and how the panel looks on a phone and on a tablet.

Every page of the app.blackbox.md panel has the same layout: on the left, the sidebar with the panel's pages; at the top, a bar with the link to blackbox.md, your balance, the language, the theme and the user menu; everything else is the page content. You enter the panel from blackbox.md, through “Contul meu” (My account) → “Panou de administrare” (Admin panel): Opening the app.blackbox.md panel from your account.
Available to: any customer signed in to the app.blackbox.md panel.
The blackbox.md website is available in Romanian and Russian; this article quotes the Romanian labels with their English meaning.
Sidebar

- The page you have open is highlighted in the menu.
- The logo at the top of the menu takes you to “Overview”.
- Between “Infrastructure” and “Account” there is an “Operations” heading with no items under it. For customers this section is empty; you can ignore it.
Collapsing the sidebar
- Click the arrow button to the right of the logo (tooltip “Collapse sidebar”).
- The menu turns into a narrow column of icons only. Hold the pointer over an icon to see the page name.
- To expand the menu, click the arrow again (tooltip “Expand sidebar”).
Your choice is kept in this browser for your next visits too. In another browser or on another device, the menu appears expanded.
Top bar
The items, from left to right:

Balance
- The indicator shows the balance of your blackbox.md account in MDL, with two decimal places. An account that has never been topped up shows “0,00 MDL”.
- Click the amount (tooltip “View balance on blackbox.md”): the “Sold” page on blackbox.md opens in a new tab. Details: Account balance: how it works.
- The amount is read only once, when the panel loads in your browser. Moving to another page from the menu does not update it. After a top-up or a payment, reload the page to see the new amount.
- If the balance cannot be read at that moment, the indicator is not shown; the rest of the panel works normally.
Important You cannot top up your balance from the panel. Top-ups are made only on blackbox.md: Topping up your balance.
Language
- Click “EN”, “RO” or “RU” (the active button is highlighted).
- The panel's text changes immediately, without reloading the page.
- Your choice is kept in this browser for one year.
- Each time you enter from blackbox.md (“Panou de administrare” (Admin panel), “Deschide panoul” (Open the panel) or “Gestionează în app.blackbox.md” (Manage in app.blackbox.md)), the panel takes the website's language again: Romanian or Russian. If you prefer English, click “EN” after each entry.
- When the panel is in Russian, “← blackbox.md” and the balance indicator open the Russian version of the website; when it is in Romanian or English, they open the Romanian version.

Theme
- By default, the panel uses your device's theme (light or dark).
- The moon button (“Switch to dark mode”) switches the panel to the dark theme. In the dark theme, the sun button (“Switch to light mode”) switches back to the light theme.
- Once you click the button, your choice is kept in this browser.
User menu
The button at the top right shows a circle with the first two letters of your username, your username (your email address) and an arrow. Click it to open the menu:

The menu closes when you click outside it or press Esc. “Settings” is not in this menu; it is in the sidebar, under “Account”.
The panel on a phone and on a tablet
On a phone, the sidebar is hidden:
- Tap the three-line button on the left of the top bar (“Open menu”).
- The menu slides in from the left over the page, and the rest of the screen is dimmed.
- Choose a page: the menu closes by itself. You can also close it with the “X” (“Close menu”) or by tapping the dimmed area.
On a phone, “← blackbox.md” appears only as an icon, and the button that collapses the menu is not shown.
On a tablet, the sidebar appears as a narrow column of icons, without the section headings.
Links to pages that are not for customers
The panel also contains working pages for the BLACKBOX team. If you open a link to one of these pages (for example, an address typed by hand), you will usually see one of the following:

This is normal: your account and your servers are not affected. You don't need to write to us, even if the 403 page tells you to contact a “Superadmin”. If the page that opens shows only error messages, choose a page from the sidebar.
After a long break: “Failed to load…”
A panel session lasts 8 hours from sign-in and is not extended while you work. If the panel has stayed open longer, or you used “Sign Out Everywhere” on another device, the page on screen stops receiving data: an error message appears instead, for example “Failed to load server data. Please try again later.” or “Unauthorized”, and actions fail.
- Reload the page (the F5 key or your browser's reload button).
- If the session has expired, the panel's sign-in page opens.
- Enter again from blackbox.md with “Panou de administrare” (Admin panel) (Opening the app.blackbox.md panel from your account), or sign in directly (Signing in directly to app.blackbox.md).
Each entry from blackbox.md starts a new 8-hour session. Other messages: Panel error messages and what they mean.
Frequently asked questions
“Overview” shows “No servers found. Contact an administrator to get access.” Where are my servers? In “My Servers”. “Overview” shows only the audit reports for company servers managed by BLACKBOX, so for servers ordered on blackbox.md this page is empty. This is normal.
I chose “EN”, but the panel switched back to Romanian. Each time you enter from blackbox.md, the panel takes the website's language. Click “EN” after you enter.
I topped up my balance, but the amount in the top bar stayed the same. The indicator does not update by itself, not even when you move to another page from the menu. Reload the panel page.
Does “Logout” in the panel also sign me out of blackbox.md? No. The panel and blackbox.md have separate sessions. On blackbox.md, click “Deconectare” (Sign out) in the account menu.
I no longer see the page names in the sidebar. The menu is collapsed: click the arrow at the top (“Expand sidebar”). On a tablet the menu always stays narrow, and on a phone you open it with the “Open menu” button.
